With the support of the Cărbuneni from the diaspora, an impressive 32-meter cross was erected in the village of Cărbuna, which will be illuminated at night.
The new construction is not just an architectural element, but a powerful symbol of the community's faith, traditions, and identity.
“Some might say that it is a useless thing, but for us, it is a symbol that unites us and reminds us that we are a village with ancient Christian traditions,” the project organizers mentioned.The Cărbuna Town Hall and the residents of the village express their sincere gratitude to all those who supported and made the implementation of this project possible, thus demonstrating that their native homeland is not forgotten.
